Skills, audacity, confident. Nicolò Zaniolo is the bright star right now, no doubt. 19 years of age, he’s got everything to become a great, great player. But as for Totti remarks, let’s not shout that so loud.
Roma certainly found a gem but we need to remind ourselves we have another 3 potential cracking players of the same age or near that. Justin Kluivert, Cengiz Under, Luca Pellegrini. Another one can be Patrik Schick but we need to make sure he can pick himself up.
Last night he saw probably the best Schick so far. Promising, at least. Hope he can move on to improve. Himself and Zaniolo scored. The latter netted a cheeky one with true skills and confidence. Faboulous.
The return of Diego Perotti was also the good news about the 3-1 win against Sassuolo. He put the penalty behind the keeper with class and showed what we missed for a long while. Welcome back, Diego.
A good performance by Roma, though initially lucky with the goal technology showing Sassuolo effort was just not a goal. For a mere millimeter. Afterwards the usual showdown with several chances missed. Luckily this time it worked out fine. And Di Francesco is still our coach. Next Parma away. On the chase. Daje Roma!
