If only Roma did it. I mean beat Udinese and maybe snatch a point at Milan and Napoli, with 4/5 extra points we’d be 6 points behind Inter, so near that 4th spot to get Champions League football next year, and lots of monies… Regrettably, we are 11 points behind, but given Inter’s form anything was possible. Or is it still?
Roma emphatically beat Brescia but the level of the opponent is irrelevant when you consider how Roma had been struggling too. Or is it really down to that? Since the restart it’s been all very volatile, with a disappointing Inter, Juve not playing great and Lazio eventually crashing, too. Amid this, Atalanta keeps flying, with Sassuolo and Verona, the other two teams on a high at the moment. Juventus might be close to clinch their 9th title in a row, but watch this space, Atalanta has a chance now. They’re on fire.
Roma still on course to finish 5th but it’s pretty open, with Napoli and Milan on our tail. We pretty much convinced in Brescia but again more tangible tests are needed for a confirmation. At least it was three points and a good boost for the morale. Coming soon Hellas Verona and Inter. Exactly that. High stakes. Forza Roma!
