It was a wonderful performance. Three goals in the first 15 mins. Five in the first half alone. Slowed down in the second half, put match under control though it could’ve been a lot more even in the second half. Roma annihilated Bologna like never seen before.
Every player deserves a mention. Yet of course, Edin Dzeko created, scored and squandered, just like that. Then Miki and Spina, at the very top, but in particular a special mention for Villar, Pellegrini and Karsdorp.
Gonzalo is in top form and incredibly useful in the middle of the park. Pellegrini delivered a top class performance at last, serving and scoring. Rick has lost a few pounds recently and he’s improved big time also defending. Hopefully they will carry on this way.
Brian Cristante scored an unfortunate own goal and now is also suspended for the next match against Torino for…blasphemy! Unusual and incredible. Never seen before, Roma still champions of jurisprudence. In addition, a penalty was given to Sassuolo equal to the one not given to Roma right against Sassuolo. Until there are such discrepancies and referring to the slightest movement of the arm, well we’ll never going to get out. Serie A resumes in mid week, Roma versus Torino on Thursday. Let’s do it again. Daje.
